「傷まないパーマ」というフレーズのパーマ剤は数多くありますが、ほとんどの薬剤はPPT(前処理剤)などで傷みを「隠している」のが現状で、これを続けているとますます髪は傷んでしまいます。しかし、アルカリ膨潤させずにパーマをかけてウェーブ形成させるのはとても困難です。これをイオン水の力と低アルカリのパーマ剤でもウェーブがつくれる美容師のワインディングテクニック（ロット巻きの技術）でかけてしまうのがアイアピアのパーマシステムです。
